Sometime last year, this exact pair of shoes was around 20 bucks. They are not very comfortable and are pretty slippery when wet. I would recommend spending around 50 for a pair of pegasus from Nike

I'm looking for 10.5 wide and they have that in black. Am I likely to find a better deal? I'm not in a rush. They look cool though

The common issue of these is bottom rubber pads to get off the sole. I'd skip this low quality footwear. Their apparel is OK, but the shoes appear to be garbage.

You get what you pay for with these shoes. They look nice out of the box but I ran right through them.

If you buy their higher tier shoes, they are good. In the end, you get what you pay for...

Which is why I wish there was a separate page of deals voted on by people who know those items. Purely looking at price, this may be a deal but I think everyone here comes here to get more than what they pay for.

Higher tier stuff supposed to include better technologies, but the build quality should not suffer regardless the tier. There are sneakers for around ~$30-40 that don't suck so much as crappy UA sneakers do at the same cost.

I understand and agree with your point but from a business standpoint, I also understand providing the consumer with a cheaper option which means the business doesn't spend as much on the build quality... it's another way of cost savings. Peace

Double edge thing. A customers face low quality stuff and might never get back to the brand since the brands choice is reach and market is huge and competitive. So you save cost, but spoil the reputation. This is a path for decent brands to become a second tier mediocre label (you know, Merrell/Columbia/etc used to be better than now). But it's ok for some companies to harness profit in short term vs maintaining the reputation in a long term.

Dunno what genius/idiot came up with the "what if we make a garbage line, sell them cheaper than people are used to seeing, & just hope they don't return them before they realize they're megasupershit" strategy... but I hate that person.

The grift got me 3 times in the past year (luckily I was able to return them all in time), & I'm not biting on any that don't have stellar reviews from a 3rd party site.
