Don't ask me how I know about this flavor. I rarely eat ramen however if I found it I'd buy it . Anyone know where too purchase Texas beef flavor ramen ?
For retail markets, the Texas Beef flavor is known as "Maruchan Ramen Picante Beef flavor" and the Cajun Chicken flavor is known as "Maruchan Ramen Picante Chicken flavor."
I have to agree the price has gone up that much. I just brought the same ones yesterday at Walmart in a 12-pack for $2.84 which is almost close to what you paid for a 24-pack 2 years ago.
You can also eat noodles without drinking soup and save it to use for other dishes. I've done that before because I'm cheap and don't want to waste anything lol
Save the packets to use to make soup broth in recipes.

2 years ago I was paying 15-18 cents per package at our local Winn Dixie. Now they are a 6 pack for $1.90 or greater depending on the brand (31+ cents per package).
Dollar Tree was a 5 or 6 pack for $1.00 ... now the 5-6 packs are mostly gone and replaced with individual packs at 3 for a dollar. And that was not too long ago.substantially.
I still buy at Dollar Tree but, yeah, often out of stock.

The "waiting for the sodium" comments … ugh
Any idiot knows that the best and maybe only way to negate the sodium concern / taste is to add double the sugar.
If you're like me who only uses the noodles and tosses out the packet, you can buy a Top-Ramen 12-pack of chicken or beef at Walmart for $2.38 ($4.76 for 24 basically).
Also I'm a monster who munches on the "dry" noodles as a snack sometimes.

So yea, this deal is slick for me to have some noodles that take ~no time to cook & add to my homemade broth
