Night and day for toughness; I have TSTAK, Toughsystem, and Ridgid. TSTAK are nice overall, lightweight, but I believe they'd be first to shatter. Also no lid gasket if I recall. Toughsystem are nice and all, but expensive. Ridgid are amazing for the money: solid, good latches, nice lid gasket. However, they are very heavy and also no "drawer" box exists (though they can't be idiots and I would figure they'd get in on the game at some point).

Though I don't have Milwaukee, they are the true Cadillac: tough, feature rich, beautiful build quality. But too pricey for most, unless your tools are your livelihood.

Final opinion: if you are light duty and don't care about potential moisture, tstak is great. If you don't mind heavier, want heavy duty, and watertight- at a great price- go ridgid.
Good box but this price isn't special.

It's a straight-up lie to say normal price on this is $53.92 given that it's almost never been over $38, and in the last year the price hasn't been more than $36. It's never been $54 on Amazon, ever.

When it was $24 during Black Friday, that was a good deal.

looks like a few of their items are discounted---how do these compare to the Ridgid boxes? I'm trying to decide on a storage system---i like that some of these have drawers and such...

I have several of the shallower boxes and they're great for the money. They're certainly lighter duty than the toughboxes that DeWalt has, but they're priced accordingly and they're trying to hit a different segment of the market (electrician, HVAC, hobbyist).

The tough boxes are larger. Bigger footprint
I think I saw on either Amazon or Ebay an adapter so you could have a large toughbox for a base and attach Tstack boxes above,

Yep. The toughboxes are well...tougher. As you said, they're larger as well as much heavier. I've got a bunch of those too, both gen 1 and gen 2. The Tough 2.0 with the drawers are overpriced, but if you can find them on a deal they're wonderful for organizing.

Thank you. I'm already in the ridgid eco system so I think I'll go that route I like their wheel box

How big/deep is this toolbox? The photos don't really help me gauge its storage capacity.

I have a toolset that came with a toolbox that is falling apart. Would this be good to fit a few wrenches, 6-7 different pliers, 2 hammers, etc?

I went all on on toughsystem late 2021. Best for the money when found on sale.

I agree Milwaukee is best overall but pricey.

Milwaukee can't fit standard demo bars.
