Venturist has a 10 year warranty while the G and C such as the 7500 and 5200 have 7 year. This covers all parts and labor required to restore to like new performance as often as needed plus free shipping both ways. Feature wise In the Vitamix lineup Venturist 1200 sits between Ascent A2300 and the A2500.

Shocked this didn't gain more momentum since the same machine + two small containers is going for $500 at Costco. The only thing that's iffy is the review claiming that these are refurbished units. But, someone from the Vitamix team responded saying these are brand new units with the full 10 year warranty.

In for one. Fingers crossed it's new.

People will love to hear what you think of Venturist especially how it compares to other models which you may have tried. I haven't had the opportunity to try one myself. Thank you for the rep!

@Dpompa03 WhatsApp with complaining on the 20th that the deal can't be replicated when the title says that it expires at midnight on the 19th? Applause

Costco return privilege expires when your membership does. Vitamix has gone above and beyond expectations for me with their customer service. Why pay more at Costco only to have to dive to the warehouse and stand in line to do a return?

Vitamix has a 10 year warranty. Shipping covered both ways. In this particular case, Costco's value proposition just isn't worth the $200 difference.

nonsense. they took 2 back no questions asked, when vitamix sent question after question giving the run around. not worth the time or hassle.

The unit was on sale for $300 and comes with a well-respected and trusted 10 year warranty (they cover 2-way shipping for crying out loud!). You're seriously arguing that the $200 premium is worth the Costco protection? This is Slickdeals!

Also, even if you bought it from Costco, their satisfaction guarantee technically only covers you for 90 days. After that, you're in theory supposed to go through the manufacturer for any claims. Costco is generous enough to accept people's ridiculous returns well beyond this timeframe but realize they don't have to. And like timbertop said, this privilege expires if you ever choose to drop your membership.

Thumb people down all you want but your position doesn't make any sense on any metric.
