Added benefits of this method is that T-Mobile doesn't charge tax on payments with gift card balance.

It's a rolling 90 day window. After each payment the expiration is 90 days later. So if you keep the account active, i.e. pay, the balance won't ever expire.

Question: so I just ordered an ATT sim for the yearly $300 plan. Would I be able to buy 6 of these at $45 a piece and avoid the taxes and fees associated with activating the plan via credit card payment?
Yes, you can.

I am currently using S22+ with Google Fi and want to move to this plan. I want to make the $300 payment using prepaid refill cards.
I think I can't activate the plan using the eSim on my Samsung phone. So, I'll need a new physical sim. An AT&T store employee told me that I need to have a number (activated?) and then he can give me a sim. I am not sure how to go about this. I found these steps in another thread - https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=155860252&postcount=451

Was someone else in a similar situation ?

No, the card has no expiration date as long as you don't activate it. Once activated it's 90 days. I'm on AT+T prepaid $300 a year plan so I just wait one month before my renewal date to enter my codes.
Don't we need to add $100 cards since the expiration date for them is 1 year ?

Can you prepay the ATT $300 plan 2 years in advance? I just activated mine recently and it says I owe $300 by the end of the year and it gives me the option to make a payment...

Just got 4 of the T-mobile prepaid cards without an issue!πŸ‘ I used to only be able to buy two of these deals a day, and Target would cancel any more orders, but they seem to have changed policy. NOTE: Buy one $50 card at a time to get 5 off each! Stacking multiple in the cart at once will only get one $5 discount.
With my RedCard discount and this offer combined brings it to $42.75 each, and T-mobile doesn't charge tax when drawing from the account balance which saves me another 7%!πŸŽ‰

don't load into your account though as 'end of year' is too far and these expire in an year if they are loaded into your account.

Didn't see any Mint Mobile gift cards. Is there anyway to save additionally on those for the year renewals? I'm still on my buy 3 months, get 3 months free promo, but starting to think about what to do upon renewal. Was previously on ATT prepaid yearly plan. Might switch back, but have actually been fairly impressed with Mint's coverage.

This is definitely the best deal to stock up on Cricket balances. If I didn't already have 7 months left I'd grab a few more.

I'm on the T-mobile Connect plan for $15/month. Do you have to spend the whole amount before the 3 month expiration date or will the remaining amount not expire if I have spent some of the amount before 3 months?

is it total of $50 (over multiple cards) or single card of $50+ ?
Purchase them one at a time with your target card otherwise they don't give you the discount of 10% off per card.
