Great monitor. I picked one up over the holiday season and am using it now, alongside a 1080p 60Hz monitor for a dual monitor setup.

27" is the sweet spot for 1440p and the 165hz is apparent the second you go back to 60Hz.

Tempted to get a second one.

Noob here. This monitor doesn't hv HDMI 2.1. Do I need 2.1 to play games at 120hz ? I hv an Xbox series x and ps5.. this monitor seems to be a great price. Just worried Abt HDMI not being 2.1

BOE BIM131, not seeing any problems and it looks better than the Dell 2721d next to it

I bought 2 of these last time it went on sale (3-4 months ago? Same price). Great monitor, although beware: the local dimming is comprised of a dozen *vertical* zones, so for example, if you're running your mouse cursor on a pitch black background, you'll see a 3-inch vertical band of pixels noticeably brighter than the rest of the screen travelling with the cursor.

Not a deal breaker, but something to consider.

Thoughts about size? Is 27" a sweet spot. Been looking for 32, but every good monitor in my price range is 27"
I tried a 32in QHD once and keep coming back to 27in. The pixel size is just too big for my taste at 32in. So above 27in I would recommend 4k.

Lg has a 32" with a 50$ discount on their site making it 200 and Dell has one just like this for 200 with a 125$ e-gift card on their site.

That's a great callout and now curious about this as well. Hopefully someone chimes in. Also, SENNA!

Bought this back on July 13, 2022, when it was on sale. At this price point you are getting a really solid monitor for gaming and work.
Yeah. These were $160. Such a good deal. I bought a few and they're excellent.

WAY better than the FRONT PAGE 27" 1080p Dell... Not a good resolution for 27" and even with all of the cashback and gift cards, still a bad deal IMHO.

BUT, $210 seems over-priced, for the HP, knowing how cheap it was.

Got this during Black Friday. It's been working great. I believe gsync should work unofficially too.

I returned mine because it started showing stuck pixels that would randomly appear and disappear. Also couldn't tell a big difference going from my 21" FHD to this 27" QHD. The larger screen just made it so everything seemed less HD to me because the pixels were bigger
You are sitting far too close to your monitor. Back it up a bit.

21" 1080p is 105 PPI while the 27" 1440P is 109 PPI. The QHD monitor literally has smaller pixels.

This has actually been sitting at this price on Amazon for a week now - I've been trying to wait until it dips back down to $170 or so (or at least hoping it will). I got it for that price back in November and want another one now.
