This was $150 on Primeday, then $160 on Thanks giving.
It requires some color adjustment, so it's only a gaming monitor, not really suitable if you want to do some photo editing.
Don't buy it at this price.

Does it also support higher refresh rate on lower resolution. In case gpu is not able capable enough at 1440p on newer titles can we reduce the resolution to say 1080p to get decent refresh rates from monitor perspective?

Was hoping to get the LG panel but ended up getting the BOE. Was going to just return but decided to to hook it up for the heck of it. Was underwhelmed with the default brightness. After going through the different picture modes I ended up on Custom RGB mode and was pretty happy with it. I had purchased the Samsung Odyssey G5 but feel the HP had it beat in the picture quality. Might try a go for an LG panel but if I can't find one I'll stick with it.

Got a BOE panel back in Oct and crazy ghosting, so buyer aware.

How did you verify which panel you have?

That's a great callout and now curious about this as well. Hopefully someone chimes in. Also, SENNA!
Straight from BenQ site.

HDMI 2.0 carries combinations like 1440p 165Hz with no issue, and for 1080p, frame rates of 240Hz are no problem.

The package box has a label to tell you which panel it is. If you see Rev, BIM111 then it's BOE, LIM*** will mean LG.

Bought this back on July 13, 2022, when it was on sale. At this price point you are getting a really solid monitor for gaming and work.
I disagree due to major light bleed these monitors prone to have on the corners, long hours of work on dark theme makes it uncomfortable.

have dual 32 right now and wouldn't recommend it for gaming/entertainment. They take up a lot of space and your eyes/mouse have to travel a lot.
For gaming, I agree. Whenever I play a game, I play it in windowed mode because the screen is too big esp in sniper mode. Maybe it is just an adjustment issue, but I couldn't get adjusted to the big screen.
But for work? This is great. I am sure 27 will be great too. But, 27 may not fit 4 windows comfortably.

I don't see the x32 for $230. Is there a special filter i need to apply?
