you can use this hack to avoid shipping, add another item which is available to pickup near your store making order total of $50, if you dont pickup with in the time frame it gets cancelled and you would get refund on that item plus free shipping for socks.
I use bit different hack on target & walmart ..I buy specific items(alpine swiss items on target, lego items on walmart) by which due to its nature of seller even though you place single order it gets split into two orders, which you can cancel immediately plus you get free shipping on the items you want.

Wow shipping on a single set is ridiculous. It's a shame because I don't have the time to figure out a workaround this morning.
Is there any way to see if these are in stock at a store?
The shipping is high because of the size of the box. It's a display box so it's about 12"x12"x2", or the size of a medium pizza box. We just get spoiled by Amazon's free shipping, that seeing the actual shipping cost is a bit shocking
Packages of different socks make me cringe. I simplified my life by getting rid of all my socks and replacing them with several packages of identical work socks. Now I can simply dig in the sock drawer in the dark and pick out two identical socks every time. No need to match them up. Get a hole in one sock, just throw it out. By the time the numbers get low, the entire batch is ready to be replaced.

It used to be (on Android only) that you could install the Kohls app and a GPS spoofer app. Spoof your location to be "inside" a Khols store, then open the app. Add whatever item you wanted shipped to your cart. Cart checks your location, thinks your inside kohls and adds free shipping. Trick seems dead though, I just tried it.

Polyester, spandex
Always with cheap socks being basically all polyester matches the cost of the materials. Sweaty feet 🐾 😭
