Vietnam is my top country on my bucket list. Went once and love it there. Great food, cheap, and friendly folks. Lots of attractions and it's safe to go anywhere alone....minus the traffic

I'm holding out hope there will be a sub $500-550 flight from LAX to Saigon this year.

It's used interchangeably. You're not going to get shot/jailed if you call it Saigon instead of HCM.
