Membership of both services cost money. Chase CSR CSP provide pretty long complementary membership.

I have found that I need at least 40% at Instacart in order to truly save money vs supermarket. The prices are all inflated well above the in-store prices, coupons are not able to be used, Aldi's and some others have a pickup fee and delivery is out (service fee, tip + $10 long distance fee means every order costs ~$20 just for delivery). So I just sit and wait until Instacart sends me some of those $20 off $40 coupons or similar that they send after you haven't shopped for awhile.

Costco markup is flat about 8%.

Aldi markup is higher 15%. But I wouldn't shop at Aldi if not for Instacart because the traffic to the store.

I was able to complete the order with my Cash App's debit card just fine. Received email confirmation from Cash App showing the 8% boost discount. As a reminder, you'll need to have sufficient balance in your Cash App to cover the purchase or else it will be declined. With Cash App it's not like a credit card where you pay later.

I got two of these gift cards only to find out they don't deliver to my address. Getting the run around where sams won't refund and instacart help is useless. Now i will have to figure out how to sell them..
Make sure they can deliver to your location before you buy the gift cards.

I order grocery pickup from Food Lion through Instacart. So far, I haven't noticed that Instacart upcharges on my order. I've directly spot-checked prices on some of the items I buy. Instacart is the online ordering platform, but a Food Lion employee does the shopping. Then I go to the store and they bring it out to my car. I'm an Instacart+ member, so I don't pay a fee for pickup or delivery, and I also get 5% back on my orders as a credit that can be applied to my next order. Tipping isn't allowed either, so these discounted GCs are basically free groceries for me. I keep going back and looking at prices and my receipts to try to figure out if I'm missing something. Now to decide if I should buy another SamsClub account so that I can get 2 more GCs.

Instacart is barely worth it after all the fees (delivery free, bag fee, long distance fee for some stores) and marked up prices. They charge fees on each order even with an instacart membership. Just making sure people know this before they buy this GC, unless you really need your items hand delivered, it's not a deal.

Instacart locked my account and no email to answers. I am glad i only had $50 credit left. Their CS don't put effort and blindly give credit. I had people making same mistake every time from costco where folks were picking regular at the price of organic meat and charging me double. There was no option to refund the diff so they kept refunding full amount and then figured i am abusing system rather than providing better training to CS and shopper. I infact ignored few mistakes on fear that they will ban me. But i am 100% sure there was no way i could have made it fair without them training shopper and CS to do partial refund rather than full refund.

I will never buy any large GC from them and not recommend to buy.
