That may be incorrect, these are supposed to come with a Deluxe Black Hard Case

Yeah fender website says deluxe hard case.

But even the $1400 American performers only include a gig bag. And the $2k acoustasonic (that can be crushed) comes in a deluxe gig bag, so who knows what fender is thinking.

Remember the video with CH when these were introduced, said they came with the black HSC as she had with hers. Pretty normal with artist models , they pick what they feel reps them best.

Few years back a similar thing happened at Adorama. They had a sale on the 3k plus Japanese Gretsch models, stated there was no case at all. Was a bit of a thing for the price of the guitars. Called and yes every model came with a proper Gretsch HSC. Think sometimes the folks who write the listing doesn't follow through to the end. Normally mexican made Fenders come with Gig Bag so don't bother to check and just assume

Yup. I own this. Mine shipped with the deluxe hard case, tho I didn't buy from Adorama. I'd call and ask. Worth the price if they include the hard case.

Lots of things annoy me and I'm getting more crotchety as I get older. That being said the scope of my crotchety-ness has not yet creeped into the MIM or MIA space lol.
