I have a motorized screen, will a short throw look horrible if the surface is not being perfectly uniformly flat? There are some very slight ripples that are not really visible with a traditional long throw projector.

Wow great deal, but after 3 years with an UST projector (Vava) I went back to an Oled TV. The brightness of the bulb was half as bright after 3 years and I eyes couldn't take it no more.

Except this one is laser and doesn't use a bulb....

Not that great of a deal if your looking for a proper ALR screen. Included is a crap 120" Indoor / Outdoor foldable screen.

For what it's worth, I bought this projector back in December on sale for the same price, and had to send it in for repairs within a week of receiving it. The projector would randomly shut off while watching 4K HDR content. The screen would go black for a second with green dots everywhere and the fan would kick into overdrive then shutdown. Initially Optoma wanted me to pay for shipping but eventually they caved and provided a label.

Aside from that, the projector is amazing when it worked. The picture quality is fantastic and the enhanced gaming feature made input lag virtually unnoticeable.
