I have the LS34J552WQNXZA which is prob about the same. It works well for just office work. It most likely won't work well for gaming. I got it during BF for $230 and later it become $200 at Walmart.
Check Walmart regularly. Pretty sure this is the same one that was $199 but always out of stock. I bought it last week after just checking the site constantly and it would shop up for a few minutes. Pleasantly surprised so far. My other monitor is a 4k 32" and this was still pleasantly large and clear. The grey looks awesome as well.
Just picked it up at my local Walmart for $169 ($184 with tax) on clearance so might want to check there if you can.
The sign said it was normally $250 so even if it's not on clearance it still might be cheaper than this Newegg deal.
I've had it less than a day but so far my initial impressions of it are positive. I'm coming from a 29-inch UW LG I got 8 years ago so going from 16:9 to 21:9 isn't mind-blowing to me like it was 8 years ago but so far it seems like a solid all-around monitor and a great one for the price I paid.
It's not for the hardcore PC gaming enthusiasts who want 144hz+ 1ms response time monitor but it's still capable of being a workable gaming monitor even at 75hz and 4ms response time.
I've heard but haven't looked much into that you can overclock the refresh rate on it if you want to go beyond 45hz.
Another data point of $169 at Walmart. It was sitting out with the clearance electronics with no yellow tag on it. Brickseek said $169 but unknown quantity. Took it up to the counter and they said $169 so I pulled the trigger. About the only way I can snag one of these deals is if something is not labeled or not labeled correctly.
