I have a large 10 gallon home compressor. I don't even bother turning that thing on anymore for tires. I use this all the time. It's pretty accurate, but not perfect. I just use my other digital tire gauge to compare it.

I've been eyeing this for the last week to keep in my truck when needing to air up my airbags when hauling or towing. At this price am in.

Not a bad little inflator, although my biggest gripe is the lack of an on-lock. If you're inflating a tire on a vehicle you have to stand there and hold the trigger on. That or fashion a way to keep it on, tape, wire, etc.

That's my minor gripe as well, though it's not too bad for smaller tires that need an extra 1-2 psi to top off most of the time (30 seconds max per tire). The Ryobi P747 dual inflator does have auto-shutoff, is a bit bulky to keep in the car, and I kind of regret not getting it for $21 during 2021 BF.

My previous inflator was a $19 12V cigarette lighter powered with auto-shutoff but I got tired of the cord.

Can you elaborate? The Ryobi 18v batteries are universal and the HP batteries are compatible.

You are claiming some batteries will damage this air compressor? If so that doesn't make technical sense.
