Bought this exact TV during black friday. I returned it after a week due to crazy dirty screen effect, and light bleed. Also, I simply cannot recommend the operating system. Google keeps getting hung up, slow and not very responsive. I have since purchased two more google tv's - a Sony OLED and a Hisense Qled.. both have the same issues with the operating system. I swear I wish we could upgrade our TV's with some RAM or something lol. Even my 7 year old roku is more responsive. Don't know whats the deal.
I'm not aware of a cheaper 65" on sale at the moment.
Definitely worth the $50 more for this Hisense

Is it better than this LG 65" UQ8000 at $469.99: https://www.costco.com/lg-65%22-c...70920.html

This LG is also available at my warehouse for the same price.

Yes. The Hisense has a slightly better score on rtings.com despite being much cheaper.

This is part of a Super Bowl sale for Costco. Maybe a few other stores will have some good sales.

Can confirm what salonpas says. You get (less than) what you pay for.

I still have it and actually won it in a raffle (thanks USL Soccer!)

Honestly if it wasn't free I would only pay at most $150 for it since it's my secondary tv.

Uneven backlight, even when calibrated. Android TV is ungodly slow on this. I have an Onn 4k stick on another TV that puts this to shame. Can barely tell when HDR is on and for some reason the other day it randomly decided to turn on motion smoothing. It's locked up more than a few times and sometimes it seems to unpair from the remote when it's off and there's no other way to turn on the TV.

PROS:
Google tv has a lot of apps
NVIDIA GeForce Now runs buttery smooth (but the input delay is rough, and it's definitely a tv issue as it's fine on my laptop and PC)

CONS:
Anything not in the PROS section.

U6H for $499 has to be a better buy than this, right? If you can afford it

I was thinking seriously about this TV, but I think I'll get this one instead:

https://www.amazon.com/Hisense-58...H7RW/?th=1

Am I wrong in choosing the 58" over the 65"? It seems like the Hisense U6H is simply a better TV.

Bought this from BB 2 weeks ago. I regret it. While the picture is nice, there are a lot of software bugs. The LED will come back on if you have it set to off when off. The TV guide shows no programs at all. It takes 8 seconds for it to handshake with my sound bar and turn on. Other glitches. I've already had them send me new firmware that doesn't solve these issues. Too bad cuz the picture is excellent.
