Bought this exact TV during black friday. I returned it after a week due to crazy dirty screen effect, and light bleed. Also, I simply cannot recommend the operating system. Google keeps getting hung up, slow and not very responsive. I have since purchased two more google tv's - a Sony OLED and a Hisense Qled.. both have the same issues with the operating system. I swear I wish we could upgrade our TV's with some RAM or something lol. Even my 7 year old roku is more responsive. Don't know whats the deal.

I'm not aware of a cheaper 65" on sale at the moment.

This is simply what you get for this price range.

I was thinking seriously about this TV, but I think I'll get this one instead:

Am I wrong in choosing the 58" over the 65"? It seems like the Hisense U6H is simply a better TV.
U65H could be Costco's model number for U6H. They both may be same TVs.

They are not. You can compare on rtings.com

Just to chip in as I bought this in November for $400 from Costco. I don't regret it, but I admit the Google OS is bad, and sadly I tend to use a Fire TV stick that's plugged in. I don't get the crashes others report and use the HDMI ARC to drive a Sonos soundbar. This works fine. The picture is good, but not outstanding. It's a nice upgrade for us though. Would certainly consider a U6H, but not with Google Tv.

You can always get a Roku stick if you need to use but don't like Google TV which I've heard bad things about.

Personally, I have Verizon Fios so it doesn't matter what system is installed for me.

Didn't do too well in testing:

Ironically, it performs best as a monitor. Lol.

Would personally go up a level and get the U6H series for Hisense TVs, better picture and features for not a whole lot more

Will tvs drop for superbowl sales?
Yes, TVs in general drop for Super Bowl sales not as big as a drop as Black Friday according to https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/when-to-buy

However, this 65" Hisense A65H is an exception and is the same price as it was on Black Friday.

Dang, if it was 75" for $500, I'd be all for it. 😁

In Costco they play samples on loop on the displays. When looking at this tv and compared against the 2 next to it, there was some brief stuttering on the nature scenes. Not terrible but it's there.

I got this 75" TCL Roku TV for $500 around Black Friday for my father and he loves it. I would probably grab another one today if it was still that low. I need a new bedroom TV and don't need all the bells and whistles of a higher end TV.
