They removed the fuel aspect from the small ships, totally changing the gameplay compared to the original.

The world could end, I could be the only person left (assuming I had internet somehow) and I'd never finish my backlog in 5 life times.... but still I buy more.

I must have spent 1000s of hours playing this in my teens on dial up via the ol WON lobby. I still play it from time to time.

HW3 I think is coming this year?
Might as well play those 2 so it's all fresh in my head.


Awesome game though. well worth 3.15

This has been my favorite games series since it was awarded GOTY in 1999. With Homeworld 3 scheduled for release in 2023, this is a great opportunity to try the game out on the cheap. This is an amazing game with an engrossing storyline …

In the remastering they redid HW1 on the HW2 engine, it lost fuel, real physics weapons, etc. Still quite fun, and the visuals are great, but to really get the proper game you can I think still play the "classic" one included.

I picked this up the day it came out and zero regrets, at this price it is 100% worth it.

it was a masterpiece of its time and still is, very simple in terms of options compared to today RTS but strategy wise its deep, only game besides chronotrigger that made me cry, very good, give it a try. -

I have absolutely no recollection, but yeah... looks like I already own it.
