Yes they are. Great headphones especially for this price. I bought them a few dollars cheaper from ebay refurb, now my main gym headphones.

I bought a pair and they arrived today. They sound much better than the Sony NC headphones I bought for my wife. I couldn't tell they are refurbs.

It's the q30. The different name is for retail stores. The only difference is the logo is silver instead of gold.
