The Avengers game is trash. If you want a good Marvel game get Guardians of the Galaxy or the recent Spiderman games.

They announced no support on Avengers which makes sense its discounted now. Really too bad, I just re watched the avengers movies and those were great times. Marvel has never been the same after EndGame and after 2020 especially.

For Avengers, while a lot of people like to say "the online sucks but I enjoyed the campaign at least" -- as a huge Marvel fan that bought this day 1, I played the campaign for 4-5 hours over a few days and found it to be boring and repetitive, and I haven't touched it since. It didn't feel like any of the heroes had any real power. Hulk has to punch a robot like 20x to destroy it. Really?

For $8, if you like Marvel, it might be worth trying for the campaign, but don't get your hopes up.

If you really want to spend around that price on a game, get Deep Rock Galactic. Most fun I've had gaming in years.

What's wrong with the game? Is it seriously broken?

"Boo-hoo, my children's comic themed video game isn't fashy enough!" 🥺

Weak, basement-dwelling nerds are actually angry that Marvel is producing stuff based on their LONG STANDING female and black characters:

The creator of Watchmen was right. This childish obsession with nostalgic, simplistic morality tales promotes fascism:

(I will admit, though, that the gameplay video makes it look boring af)
I still play SMB3 lol

I guess that's why stores are loaded with Black Panther and Mrs Marvel merch.

Black Panther was a multi time failed comic, just like Dr Strange and Silver Surfer. There's a reason why they're 4th tier characters.

I don't know why all the hate on Avenger's. Never played it online, but it runs fine on my PC from like 2016 (i5 6500, 1060 6gb, 8 gigs of ram). Yes, I run it at a lower resolution, but I also have a more budget PC from 2016 so that comes with the territory.

Characters actually play differently so it wasn't like many super hero games where there are ranged and melee with different animations separating the two. Are missions fairly similar? Yes - but if we are honest, there are mainly fetch quests and kill quests anyway in games like this - fetch quests and "go talk to _____" are effectively the same and loot x/kill x are, too. So is it repetitive? Yes. Are a ton of loved games? Yes.

Seems like it comes down to Ms. Marvel being the main story teller and my understanding of crappy online. Wasn't there a required internet connection as well? Like many, I never know about those since my PC is always connected anyway. Stupid for solo, but it impacts fewer people each year - hello cloud gaming. I know I have heard some say the end content initially was lacking. They added a bunch of content for free. It also means for $8, you get to play through the story and then there isn't a pseudo-obligation to keep playing. I beat it back before the first new content was released and have played probably half of the new stuff. Had gotten at $20-30 range and have no regrets. Would obviously prefer it for $8, but there aren't many options for games like this so…

So the game is being endgamed? I always wanted to finish it so I guess I should pick it up now. Doubt there will be better sales. I expect it will drop from Game Pass as well as all the stores leaving only disc versions on consoles. Probably means we will never see future patches for new OS's

My issues with the game:
1. They licensed the characters but not the actors so it looked like bagged cereal.
2. The beta of the game was fast-paced and constantly changed your hero, but the final product was a grind.

Just paid $8 for Avengers, got the email that my key was ready. When I clicked to redeem I got this "Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product"

I've submitted a ticket to support

It's a very odd remake. I didn't like the new stuff they added in: a 'hero' story line for the towns and weak tower defense levels interspersed throughout.
