There's also a 4k@60Hz option. You might want this option if you use a KVM switch or a dock.

Could you make a recommendation for one that would work I guess for the inverse? I had monitors that were HDMI and now my new on is DP only. Was looking at getting an adaptor instead of buying new cables.

I have a monitor with DP output. Can I use it to input HDMI to the second monitor?

I bought this for my Steam Deck dock (the official one from Valve). It works fine by itself, but it wouldn't work when both the HDMI port and the DisplayPort are connected. I could only output to one monitor (either in Desktop Mode, or in Windows). Then I read that it works only with an active adapter, so I bought one. Unfortunately that didn't work either, so I wasted money on that as well. Eventually connected a native cable, and only then did I get dual monitors to output.
Anyway, long story short - it works, but if you are considering it for the Steam deck dock, then don't go for it. It'll work for a single monitor (in which case you might as well connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port), but not for dual monitor setup.
