These "Stories" games are shockingly fun. Totally different from traditional monster hunter, but lots of fun. And plenty of easter eggs if you do play real monster hunter.

I loved this game. I payed full price and thought it was well worth it. There is a ton to do even after you beat the game.

FYI this game fps drop crazy after first map on Nintendo Switch so if fps is your concern pick the PC version instead.

I put almost 150 hours into the Switch version. I only noticed some performance issue in the opening parts of the game. Anything after that I didn't think it was bad enough to ruin my experience and think the game is great (maybe I have a high tolerance for low frame rate). It was my favorite game to come out in 2021. Try out the demo on Switch our Steam. Obviously the Steam version runs better, but it's a fun game to play portable.

The problem is if they lock it on 30fps, it will be fine, but there is no option to lock fps, so this game run between 20 to 60fps that make it very difficult to play for me since it so laggy when drop super fast from 60 to below. But fun game I have like 100 hours on pc version. Also if you are wondering about dock the Switch can help on fps then no docking event make it worse.
