after doing just a small amount of research.. it looks like the medium one is going on a deep discount for a reason.

i'm going to get one.. it's so cheap so why not.. but i'm not expecting this to do much for even a small bedroom tbh. this might be good for a VERY small bedroom or closet

I'd imagine the availability/cost of the replacement filters. I'd stick with a very popular unit, because they typically have good availability of well reviewed aftermarket HEPA filters.

It's like printers...get one that has cheap toner/ink cartridges. They want to sell you the appliance cheap and then bleed you for years on upkeep. Don't fall for it.

Bought the refurbished winix c545 directly from winix for $69. Bigger and I guess clean much better than this one.
