I always used to have dry, hard cracked heels. Then I started filing the thick dry skin off with a foot file, and using losion at night. No more thick dry cracked skin - ever. Ya gotta file it off. No amount of balm will help you remove the dead krusted skin.
From slick deals to slick heels
This works wonders for my feet, which seem to get painfully cracked and dry in the winter time. The stick lasted me about a year. Perfect timing on the deal.

I love this stuff. Patches my dry heels right up. Once I discovered it, I've been buying it up every time it goes on sale. Thanks OP

I literally just applied this on my feet 2 minutes ago and I was thinking of buying more just to stock up... What a coincidence!

This is good stuff. I'm on my feet 10 hours a day and then wear flip flops like 11.5 out of 12 months of the year. My heels in winter could cut someone. I started using this stuff after a scrub in the shower with a Mr. Pumice pumi bar and my heels have remained smooth for the last several months. I'm never without this stick now. It also smells nice, if you're a peppermint fan.

yep. "Lanolin is classified as an emollient and an occlusive moisturizer, which means it has the ability to slow water loss from the skin"
