I would not not hesitate to recommend this oil as it performed extremely well and lasted 15k miles on my camry hybrid, here is the used oil analysis result: Linky[bobistheoilguy.com]
The mobil 1 extended performance oil I used previously didn't perform any better.
Great price for this 2 pack given current regular prices. In for a few boxes the next time I go to Costco.
The best deal I found was like January 2021 where a case of 12 qts of Kirkland Synthetic was $21.99, and I bought several cases bringing a 5qt oil change to about $8 in oil. Not sure that will come around again, so this is pretty good for "now" prices. These 5qt containers are great for keeping in the trunk if you have a higher mileage car that likes to burn/leak oil over time, so if you're out on the road you have several quarts in a compact container (compared to several single quart bottles) on hand if you see your oil light pop on in the middle of nowhere and have to add oil immediately.

Regular oil needs to be changed every 3k miles. Full synthetic needs to be changed every 5k miles. .
Maybe for cars in the 1990's and before. There is no reason to change the oil in any average modern car that frequently...basically just throwing money away and not so good for the environment either.
The last two times I've placed these boxes in my cart sideways they have started leaking all over the floor. Definitely wouldn't trust them for shipping unless the manufacturer has changed recently.
If it's only $1 cheaper in-store, it's worthwhile to just order online - considering the cost of gasoline just for a roundtrip drive to a store.
I would actually go to the store. I recently bought a box and had to go to another store because one or more boxes were damaged and got over the other boxes. I would hate for it to break during shipping to your house.

True. My Costco had a stack that had oil all over the boxes.
How long is the shelf life? Picked up a box last month and did a change this past weekend, so have another 5qt jug for next time.
Synthetic oil is good for almost a decade from what I read, unless someone knows more about it than me I'd say you're good for 5-10 years with these containers.
