Don't do it.

They charge your credit/debit card, then product not available, order canceled, etc.

They you get to fight with your credit/debit card and Autozone to reverse the charges. Happened to me twice on the clearance gloves.

Buyer Beware.

Ed is right. Don't do it. I went into the store 2 different times, was lied to by each employee, and then got a very early call saying they canceled the order. best to delete this post to save people the hassle.

Placed an order this morning, and the store called and said they did not have the item and that I would need to go in person to get a refund (odd). I checked my order status online and it shows the order is processing but the last 4 of the credit card is not mine. I think the store employee is trying to purchase it.

Website showed 1 in stock in large size in Richmond CA.
I went in and it was the last one on the shelf.
Rang up at regular price and when I showed the employee the sign on the shelf he told me that was for a different glove.
I went outside and purchased it online it said it would be ready same day.
I contacted support on the third day and left an email.
Got a call on the fourth day and was told they don't have the item.
They put items on sale and then lie about having them instock.
I would have paid $20 just to be spared this waste of time

How well do these gloves hold up? I previously bought similar craftsman gloves that began to deteriorate on the first use so bad that I threw them out

Had 3 at my local store. 2 large, 1 xl. Walked out with the 2 large for just over $10. Cashier had no idea they were even on clearance even though there was a sign.

Found some at local store. The gloves did not have clearance sign, but had regular price on the shelf. Went to purchase and sure enough, they were $5.

Don't forget extra 10% military discount with ID.

Have to add my experience, which is the same as many others. They called from the local store and said they don't have them they are discontinued. I was in the store a few days ago, and they DID have them. So either they are lying and stashing them for themselves, or they are complete morons. Maybe both. Luckily I used Paypal, so shouldnt be a problem, but never again shopping an AutoZone. I always liked Advance Auto better anyway.

Can confirm. It happened to me on Nitrile gloves.

Went to pick-up and they said it was recalled 2 days prior.

They cancelled the order and kept my money - still waiting on that refund.

I ordered , similar to above they have never sent me another message or anything regarding picking up the item. ,But deducted my money.i will have ask them to credit back through Paypal which was the payment method.

Seems like I got lucky. These gloves went through, after the nitrile ones I had tried to get before got cancelled. Was refunded the 5 bucks for the nitrile. Went in to pick up these and the guy handed me these gloves and nitrile ones that had been cancelled, said I was good to go with both. So got these and the nitrile for 5.35 after tax. Was odd they had the nitrile gloves set off to the side with my name on them but never set my order to ready for pickup.
