Samsung EDU/EPP Members: HW-Q910B 9.1.2-Ch Soundbar w/ Rear Speakers (2022) Expired

Wish samsung sells hw-q930b but not found in their site. Looks like a better version of 910. For reference u can find 930b on bestbuy

I have the same setup as well currently just wish the q910b was compatible with the 9500S rears that would make the extra money worth it. Actually you can get this one for $350 when paired with a TV. You don't really need to buy a TV though just take a screenshot and send it via chat to a rep and they will price match that if already purchased. Worked for me for the q800b got it for $325 + tax

I would definitely chat to price match to the current EPP price ($375) if you do keep the 800b (even if you debate returning it, I would go ahead and price match while it is in stock since it was OOS yesterday and the 910b is out of stock currently)

As far as keeping vs. returning, it depends on you personal preferences.

The 800b is compatible with the wireless 9500 speakers (that can be special ordered instore at Best Buy for $120, making that plus the 800b $495 total at the current prices). Those are "true" wireless (no speaker wires) and are Atmos, but have reports of somewhat weak sound / volume.

The 910b includes rear speakers (non-Atmos) that are "wireless" but require running speaker wires to a small box in between the two. That's ultimately a less "clean" setup (since you have to run one speaker wire to each) and the rear speakers are not Atmos, but reports seem to indicate they have somewhat stronger sound / volume vs. the wireless 9500 (Atmos) speakers.

There are some reports of intermittent wireless connection issues with both units, so pretty much a wash there.

I debated both options and ultimately ended up going with the 910b (which was $350 when bundled with a TV I was already planning to purchase vs. $325 for the bundled 800b) as I value the stronger sound and additional audio channels included with the package more than I was concerned with running the two speaker wires or having Atmos on the rear speakers, and figured I save $95 this way and don't have to deal with the in-store ordering of the 9500 speakers at Best Buy.

You could always stick with the 800b for now and decide if you want to add the 9500s in the future, in which case I think you'd be at a very similar setup without having to make the full decision right now.

How do I get 9500S rear speakers for $120 at BestBuy instore? what do I have to tell them at it shows $299 online?

Not sure what I did differently. All I did was tell them I was seeing a cheaper price and sent them a screenshot it had the TV and everything in the picture and they just said they would match it. I guess I got lucky

Did you got the refund confirmation email and the amount ? they agreed for me when i chatted but after 2 days i got an email stating it will not be price matched because it is a TV bundle and not eligible :-(

I was able to bundle match on 990b for $650... try refunded only 150 from the 800 EPP price but I'm not going to push the tax

Yes and also see in my transactions so netted 990b for 650 not as good as the 910b but I am happy

That's awesome, mine got rejected stating it's a tv bundle offer so can't do price match just with soundbar price. Any tricks you used can help me ?
