I have a pro-form exercise bike. I've spent literally a total of 20 hours on hold trying to get it fixed. I spent 5 hours 17 minutes one day alone. If it breaks prepare yourself for extended hold times. Their support itself is very friendly and such but getting to them is literally hell...

Bummer! That sucks. I'm gonna pass on this item, but it's good that it's from Costco...

Caution about Proform/ifit equipment. Their support puts you on hold forever, keeps sending you the wrong parts, you will have to go through hoops to get any issue resolved.

So if everything works out of the box, you are spared the pain and suffering.. otherwise, lord have mercy on you!

I bought an exercise bike in November. It's still not operational! It was missing the front stabilizier. After 3 hours in 2 sessions of chat/calls, they sent the incomplete part again. After a few more calls and a BBB complaint, they sent the parts but they don't fit well. The bike is not stable on the ground because of this. The software update fails and I don't have the heart to call them again and spend few more hours with no help.

I just want to take the bike to my backyard and burn it. But it's too heavy to carry.

100% My experience.. They even sent a tech out to fix mine and he couldn't but they wouldn't send a replacement. Just kept sending more parts. I eventually gave up and fixed it myself. I couldn't take another 5+ hour hold. I was going to toss it if I couldn't fix it frankly as it was such a frustration. Their support people really are nice but they take forever to get a hold of and I'm still waiting for a "supervisor" to call me back about a replacement. That was over a week ago now..

While I cannot speak to the support department at ProForm (which is a good thing), I can say that I have had my ProForm treadmill since 2012 and it is still going strong (using it almost every day, other than the Spring/Summer months). It is getting near the end of its expected life cycle, and it is now getting rusted, so might be time to explore a new one. I am very happy with the ProForm treadmill in general.

I always thought of proform as the bobo kmart brand… sams club has one for $599 as well near me on clearance

I personally would never buy a treadmill less than 3 horsepower if you want to use for running.
