Most Menards deals don't get posted in Hot Deals because not everybody has a Menards close by, and people complain about the rebate process/checks.

I posted the link so that people interested in Menards deals can subscribe to it and be alerted to Menards deals.

There are some dedicated slickdealers in that Menards thread that post known/unknown deals and keep the rest of us informed, I have nothing but heart felt thanks for those people.

Now, get off your high horse and enjoy. Done

So now all deals should be put into one long 450 page thread that has been going on since before Osama bin Laden was killed by SEAL Team Six?

Wow, the front page of this website is going to be drastically different moving forward. God forbid finding something from Amazon or Walmart with this SOP....

Many people also don't have a Kroger, Micro Center, Rite Aid, Ace Hardware etc close by either...but those make the front page daily.

Not to mention the endless YMMV deals posted.

So they can adhere to your standards as opposed to you creating a filter so you aren't bothered? Wouldn't that make far more sense than expecting a website to cater to you?

Said the guy who won't make a filter, but expects every other user to mirror his / her needs? I just skim past retailers I cannot drive to / order from. I guess that is too much effort for some people. They expect the other 100,000 users to alter their behavior instead....

Woah. Go read a few pages. Those people are serious over there. They time it to go to the store after all the sale tags are on the shelves, and the sale prices are live, but the ad is not posted on the internet yet. So they buy a bunch before the sale sell-out happens.

you have to understand how menards works. they do rebates, always reliable but takes months to increase cash flow. they ask their suppliers to offer up deals so they can increase cash flow and in return they give the suppliers floor space. but if their stuff doesnt sell they will swap suppliers any time too. this is like internal competition. menards is
the active ingredient in fighting inflation, we just need more stores like them. walmart is pretty good too, as is costco and amazon. these are big stores that are the embodiment of capitalism and competition. others like lowes and home depot can learn from them.

You say this like Lowe's and HD aren't capitalist companies designed to maximize shareholder value and profit.

I'm ok with Menards getting banned from SD.
Because SD'ers don't like to save big money?

I don't get the hate for the Menards mail in rebate, you can fill out the form online and then all you have to do is print it out and mail it with a receipt, I have never had problems with it and have saved hundreds off of their rebates over the years. My only gripe is that it can be a slow process, I have had to sometimes wait for months to get a rebate, but I have always eventually gotten them.

If these types of deals from Menards are going to start appearing on the FP then SD is just going to be a new Menards ad every week.

Stopped doing Menards rebates years ago, they are store credit and generally have a fairly short time period to use them on. Only works well if you actively go to Menards often. Not really a SD IMHO especially with the store being pretty regional.
The store credit has no time limit…

You're right, I got one in November and can confirm there was no expiration date. Used it during their 15% off after the first week of this month.
