Keep in mind that the Rtings review is for a 65" with an ADS/IPS panel. This 85" has a VA panel, so overall it will perform better than the Rtings review suggests... especially for movies.

Excellent price.

Local dimming, bright picture, 4xHDMI 2.1, solar charging remote, solid build quality.

For just $400 more, this is a better deal than the lg86 and Sony85 deals posted recently.

Frontpage worth deal.

Employee email address sign up or AAA membership and access via AAA discount portal by searching Samsung, then shop now and validate identity for access to discounted Samsung. So far appears to be the same as EPP program pricing.

Does anyone have a Dimming Zone count on the 85? The 65" ADS was 48 in a 4x 12 array.

Excellent deal. Best 85" price pound for pound yet. Makes $2000 sound a lot even for the qn90 or 95b at 2500$. No way to justify it with 80b at this ridiculous price.

If you're in the market for 85" TV and don't want to spend 2k+ , buy this NOW. I rarely say that

What about brightness? I have a very bright room this would go in so that's my concern.

Yes! I just figured out through an old thread that AAA offers Samsung discount. I happened to be a AAA member, and got this deal! Thanks.

Not sure if mentioned before, but try chatting with customer service, that can add wall mounting or 2 year Samsung care+ for free.

Jumped in on this deal. Thanks for the notification. Samsung has always been my go-to for top quality TVs. Hopefully Tzien has improved since my last one though.

14-day price match range. Samsung has been very strict about the timeline. I would say the chance is very small to get price adjustment from Samsung. You may have better chance to request an out of window return.

Most of the credit cards have got rid of their protection benefits. Not sure what cards did you use.

Used Costco card to get extended warranty.
