Keep in mind that the Rtings review is for a 65" with an ADS/IPS panel. This 85" has a VA panel, so overall it will perform better than the Rtings review suggests... especially for movies.

I chatted with the Samsung rep via chat feature and asked for the 2 years+ Samsung plus protection for free as other forum members were getting it. He had no problem including that for me.

I am sure they will eventually but probably without the extras. If you don't care for the extras and can wait a few more months, it will probably drop when the new models come out
