Bought this set years ago and has held up well with constant use. Was considering replacing my driver but at this price, may replace both

A MUST BUY for anyone who owns a house and doesn't already have a reliable drill/driver set. There's also space in the case to store boxes of drill and driver bits

Do I still need it if I already have 5 drills and 3 impact drivers? 😬

The 887 is pretty much my favorite power tool ever. It looks like it's been through a war after 6 years of almost daily use. I've gone through dozens of batteries as they lost charge or failed, but the impact driver just soldiers on.

Good deal if you consider that last year for $27 more you get the same combo but with a fast charger and soft bag instead of hard case.

These are both XR, and personally I like the case more than the bag. Average home owner also doesn't need the fast charger.

The Makita products sold in USA are not made in Japan. Some DeWalt products are made in USA with global materials and some are in Mexico. I own tools from both brands.
