I have two of these and they give me great customizable lighting for Zoom calls. I'm not crazy about the software but it's more than acceptable for the price.

Why not use a round/ring light (those you attach a camera or phone in the center)?

I actually bought a ring light with small stand and clip today. I need one for my desk for video calls. I did see this light as well, but didn't make sense to spend 50 when I could get more for 16. Professional light gurus may be able to explain to me.
