A good youtube channel I found is CurlyFragrance. She goes on the street and does blind fragrance tests against each other with women. Kind of shocking sometimes when the expensive colognes get not so good reactions and many times they say it's not even worth it. But sometimes you should get cologne you like, not what others like for compliments. Should try the testers at department stores before buying.

They're high-end designer/niche fragrances. And these are considered cheap prices. Definitely not for everyone if you're trying to get the best bang for your buck.

Jazz Club is an AMAZING cool weather scent or night out. Just don't wear in the heat. Niche smell for designer price.

Lots of judgement on here, wow. I'm not one who is into expensive fragrances but I have someone that I need to get a gift for who would really appreciate a high end bottle so this is great timing for me. Personally I like Number 6 by Caswell and Massey, it was worn by George Washington and I like a fragrance that has been around for 250 years, even though I don't wear fragrance often. Thanks OP for alerting me as I'm going to get a bottle of Tom Ford scent and one of the Jo Malone, I've tried JM a few times and I like their scents and I owe a gift to someone who will like it.

I totally get the shock on the price. My daily options are value based and my typical winter office frag is Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel that cost me like $12 at Marshalls. And one of the unobtanium frags out there is old stock Eddie Bauer Adventurer. There are decent options at all price points.

But when I want it to be a special day, it's Tom Ford Grey Vetiver or Creed Green Irish Tweed. Makes me feel like a million bucks and since I don't wear it often the bottle lasts forever. What's $200 for a decade of special days?

The budget frags are synthetic and many irritate my nose. Even some of the pricier ones will reformulate over time to reduce production costs as the market moves on to something else. Plenty of people aren't bothered by it and it makes frags more accessible to people by lowering the price, so I'm not knocking the practice too much.

You'll also find the premium stuff is way stronger. Its pretty easy to over apply if you don't get it.

How come there is no Tom Ford Ombre Leather? I counted at least 9 different Tom Ford offering, but have never seen Ombre Leather on sale at Costco before.
