The mainly relevant information for this deal, also a dealbreaker, is that it is actually the ad-supported worst tier, which is especially awful at Peacock. That fact needs to be in the topic title.

For another opinion, the movies just force one long watch (go get popcorn) and I've been streaming Longmire and don't hate the ads. They're varied. I recall getting tired of the same ads on Hulu.

Peacock is one of the better services in regards to ad loads. Commerical breaks never extend 60 seconds and in a traditional show, you can expect around 2 and a half minutes of ads. Most movies only have an ad before the beginning of the film and that's it. While I get it through Comcast, I've had experience with the ad tiers of most of the major streamers and this is one of the few that's tolerable. Hulu and Paramount+ are the services I consider damn near unusable with ads.

Not applicable for internet-only customers, at least not long-term. I've seen three months, which is better than nothing, yet it's not the full tang.

peacocktv.com/spectrum if not already mentioned. I see someone else mentioned https://www.peacocktv.com/xfinity there may be other providers that give it away free too. Also if you have it free and the term expires and you cancel, you may be able to sign up free again. Ymmv

Especially awful at Peacock? The commercial breaks have always been 30-60 seconds for me, by far the least amount for plans from any ad supported streamer. Getting it for $1 a month plus cashback was an insane deal a couple months back.
