Not to thread jack: But Whirlpool no longer put food grinder in their dishwashers. Correct? [My uncle is researching and I was not aware of this.]

Ours is attached to the insinkerator. We probably don't need the grinder in the dishwasher. The issue with the inbuilt one is it gets gunked up and not easy to clean.

The issue is getting larger pieces of food and insoluble items ground up fine enough to get it through the dishwasher filter and out out the dishwasher.
