I received my order for this card today. Given that I've only had the card for a few hours, I'm happy with what I've seen so far.

In the little time I had over lunch, I tried Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and Evil Dead: The Game as I knew how those performed on an Nvidia Quadro K2200 (poorly).

I, by no stretch of the imagination, have a proper gaming PC, but rather a Dell workstation. Despite that, both games ran very, very well at 4K on a TV with maximum settings, VSync enabled, and no ray tracing. The card is in "overclock" mode by having the rear-panel button depressed.

I was unable to hear any coil whine (or even GPU fan noise) over the barely-audible dual Noctua NH-U9DX i4 coolers that purposely run 10% over Dell's stock minimum fan speed setting.
Not sure why people are downvoting you. This is a totally reasonable opinion considering what the GPU market looked like before crypto mining came along.
I plugged my RX6800 PC and PS5 into the same 4K monitor and played Fortnite w/ RTX, Doom Eternal, Rocket League, God of War, Cyberpunk, just a bunch of my games in general and compared side by side. I know this will be downvoted, but the differences in graphical fidelity are not so great.

In 2015, I built a killer $500 PC around a R9 290 NewEgg sold for $200. In 2019, I built a $600 Ryzen 2600/RX5700 rig. Both traded blows with consoles and had the added versatility of being PCs, emulating, and more. If we are about SlickDeals, I'm just not sure the PITA that is PC gaming today is worth it. I've got 10 launchers, 4 different RGB apps, etc. It's just a mess and every so often Windows updates and breaks something.

Is this a good card? Yes. Is this a good price for the card relative to the market for this card? Yes. Is this a good value? No, it's not.

Wow, this is a LOT of GPU for 500. Will this do 4K 60fps?

This isn't the same exact cooler but this should give you an idea of how it performs. https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...ed-dragon/

Can this play D4 at 4K w/ RT? Saving up for a card.
BTW, reviews say there is coil whine.

This should be around $300s by now, with some 3070 used for around the price range. The faster variants 6800XT or 6850XT should be around this price instead. But that just one opinion.

i think this is one of the smallest 6800 card, which for some is a huge benefit.

I have this card, it runs pretty hot by default, so I had to manually set the fan curve in the AMD adrenaline software to be a little more aggressive. Other than that, very happy with the purchase.

Probably because a lot of people believe a 2 year old GPU should still be at MSRP price despite high supply and declining demand. Too many people are supporting the horrible price gouging on GPUs by nVidia and AMD.

I'm personally waiting for the mid tier Radeon 7000 GPUs. My current GPU is almost 5 years old, so might as well wait a bit longer.

Call bullshit on 3070s for the 300. Maybe for parts or that are advertised as mining cards. You take your chances on ebay. Picked this up open box at Microcenter for $419 and it's a great product at that price

The other poster was simply saying prices SHOULD be around $300. Of course they aren't for the reasons I stated earlier.

With how pricey the 7900 xt and xtx turned out relative to their performance, we may have to wait a bit longer. I'm still running a GTX 1070...
