You are, of course, free to filter your purchases by any criteria that you wish, but GMOs are not inherently bad for you (or livestock, or the environment) and insinuating that it should be the only reason for others not to buy is pretty disingenuous.
Pedantic comment but one that needs to be written. All food we eat is genetically modified. We don't get cultivation or domestication without modifying genetics.
I didn't do a good enough job explaining because you misunderstood what I wrote. Just because some food is what we call "genetically engineered" (what's colloquially known as GMO), doesn't mean other food is not. All food is genetically modified. Some of this took place over hundreds to thousands of years. Some modifications happen in labs or over shorter times and are done by "scientists" instead of "farmers" but the end result of the "natural" process is the same as the "scientific" process -- the genetic modification of food. It's part of what people do. Wild peas became cultivated peas through genetic modifications. Wild grass became maize (corn) through genetic modifications.

People can have allergies/issues with soy (like they can with wheat), which could be an issue with soy-based foods (which this product is not). That's one issue. We shouldn't be afraid of "GMOs" though. A lot of people work hard to improve the quality, quantity, and hardiness of food. That's what's been done with soy. Scientists trying to make it better.

Costco's is an 18-pack ($1.06 each), Amazon's is a 12-pack ($1.37 each).

Pretty messed up, I suggested this in another plant-based meal replacement front page deal TWO DAYS AGO… but it's all good

Look at comments:

Regardless, for non-plant based these are better deals:

Hard pass if it is soy based. Because most of the soy in the world is genetically modified
It doesn't say soy in the ingredients. I see that Natural Flavor is bad

Typical pea protein is mixed with a rice protein to make it complete. Looks like this is incomplete protein shake.

Ingredients

water, pea protein isolate, soluble corn fiber, contains less than 2% of cane sugar, cocoa (processed with alkali), natural flavor, tricalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, gellan gum, purified stevia leaf extract, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).
