They only had 17 bags of the 15 lb bags in the store, I went outside to the nursey area and found a pallet up in the racks. The employees didn't even know they were there. I ended with 76 15 lb bags and 1 big bag. All for $1. Thanks op!

Just picked up from Durham, still lot left

Whoah... Thanks for sharing!! ~50 minute drive for me, would be worth it if they still had some left. Could head out after work. The smaller or larger bags? And Pointe Drive or Moriah Drive? Drove 30 minutes to Cary location this morning and nothing... zero, brutal. Might just go to Durham after work.

just buy the entire pallet and resell what you cant fit in your car outside the store. The "sent back" is basically end of shelf life and stores will send products to be destroyed or back to the manufacturer.
It's not end of shelf life, they are changing the packaging to 4,000 and 12,000 Sq ft quantities. It's cheaper for them to sell the existing stock off rather than ship it back and repackage it. My advice to store this in a cool dry place and do not open until you use all of it. Once it clumps, it turns to cement and is useless.

I asked two stores to check for them.... Both of which listed brickseek inventory (lots of it). One of them kept telling me it doesn't come up, and then both said none in 100 miles. I think this was cleared from their internal system, since I was just at a local store with them at $1

Brickseek said 0 of the 43lb bags - there was almost 3 pallets worth at my local store. Grabbed about 12 - didn't want to kill my car, lol.

Attendant at the self-checkout was skeptical about the pricing and was still scanning the bar codes as I finished and pushed out the cart.

If the bags are hard and clumpy already best to try and loosen now?
