We did Barcelona, Madrid and everywhere in between in OCT 2019. Weather was great, not sure about NOV-DEC but I would guess still good!

Iberia has had some great deals, I got Roundtrip LAX-MAD for $475 for this spring bought last week. You have to sign up on their website to see the best deals

Perfect time to visit Andalusia, it's a lot more mild down there (2 hour high-speed rail from Madrid Atocha). Barcelona is a little chillier, but easy access to the French and Italian Rivieras. Decent deal, but remember to add $150 for seat selection and a checked bag, free changes, etc. BE works for many, but 11 months ahead is a long window for things to change.

Perhaps most of assumed they were plane tickets....last Uber I tried to get from the US mainland to Barcelona never arrived.

I've been to 6 of the 7 continents, 30+ countries and countless cities, town etc. Detroit is about as crappy as any other crappy place in the world...it all comes down to expectations and preference.

Oh, I live near Detroit but am from the Cleveland area.

Pretty good deal though....
