Some of the worst cat food on the planet. Free carcinogens in every serving: carrageenan.
Then there are formerly living unknown things: by-products.
Here, out of like 10 comments 8 said is terrible.
I don't understand..Never bought this before..
In the same boat. At least the ingredients look good. Will give it a try with the 12 pack.

Just choose the few "above average" options on CatFoodDB (linked).

It's in trace amounts and by products are perfectly eatable for cats.
They would eat this stuff in the wild and it's a bit alarmist to say worst cat food.
Maybe you are fancy enough to feed your cats high prices food oraybw you feed high priced dry and think it's better than this.
This is for the value conscious person with limited money and way better than dry food.

And felines don't eat poor nutrition by-products or carcinogenic-in-cats carrageenan, the former banned for human consumption by the way, in the wild. That is hilarious. And a pathetic argument.
Value-priced quality foods are available. Almost all of the food on grocery store shelves made by Mars, Purina, etc. is not that. That also goes for the Royal Canin, Science Diet, megacorp "prescription diets," etc., that many veterinarians shill.

And this statement is disturbing: "People who cannot afford to take care of their animals with good nutrition shouldn't have them." Do the shelters feed them better food than this?

I checked the glorified site and this particularly wet food is not so bad rated. Is not stellar but is ok
The reality is that majority of cat owners buy food from grocery stores, and I don't see cats dropping dead left and right because of that.

Include brands made by Nestle Purina, Mars Petcare, JM Smucker, Colgate-Palmolive, and General Mills.
AAFCO states that meat by-products can include 4D meats (dead, diseased, dying, disabled) as long as the by-products are rendered; rendered meats can include dead animals from feedlots, ranches, marketing barns, ANIMAL SHELTERS, and food waste from restaurants, groceries, and stores.
