I bought one about a year ago. It's a fun look, and it's been working fine since I got it. It's not the same fit/finish as a $2k watch, but as long as you aren't expecting a Rolex/ Omega I think you'd be happy. It's different enough and I always get questions about it in a community where everyone has smart watches.

In for a his and hers at this price. Thanks. Buddy of mine mentioned if the wood is not treated, it could potentially crack the glass with temperature differences.

At this price, I'm tempted to buy it for the dial and handset. With the right case, crystal, automatic movement, and stem, this could look like a far more expensive timepiece.

What kind of batteries are used in your watches?
In our Florence, Troy (wooden bands), Queen and Craftmaster Swiss Ronda movement models "Renata 371" watch batteries are used.
In our Troy Canvas Japanese Miyota 2035 movement model "Energizer 377" watch batteries are used.

In our Serenity Japanese Miyota GL30 movement model "Energizer 364" watch batteries are used.

I ordered a "Troy Walnut Canvas" and got it on Friday. I'm not a watch afficionado by any means, but I like it. No issues. Quality is nice. Packaging was nice. So far, time is staying accurate. It's silent (no ticking) as well. No complaints, especially at the discount price.

SO was impressed enough to want one, as well. (Decided to get a "Serenity Green Sandalwood" for the SO.)

If you are sincere about saving money on diapers, you should look into cloth diapers and diaper sprayers.

I don't think termites can tell time so you should be safe.

Obviously not water resistant, but would an accidental splash while washing hands ruin it?

I saw the FAQ, just curious real world.
