Ideal for quick-strike missions to catch the sunset or a weekend at your favorite mountain music fest, the Gregory Nano 22 H2O hydration pack hauls your gear for the day plus 3 liters of water.
Since you're being cheeky, here's one for you also.
1 Liter of water weighs 1 KG. You don't need to google it. The whole metric system is built on it.
I picked this up last weekend, to use as a day bag with my larger backpacking bag. Remove the hydration bladder, and you've got a good day bag with decent shoulder straps, weighing in at around 11 ounces (18 ounces with the bladder).
Ok Google how much does 3 liters of water weigh

Is the color in photos accurate?
I like color in photos but can see where it might be off

They're accurate, I picked it up in store and saw the colors. With the exception of Calypso Teal, the other colors match their full size backpack line.

Thanks!
I've noticed blues and teals seem to have more issues translating from photos

Bought this back in October for a few bucks more. Used it to some light hiking in the Grand Canyon, Zion and Death Valley. The bladder is good, the straps are comfortable enough. For 49 bucks it's a no brainer, even if you don't plan to use the bladder.

Does it lie flat and compact down.
I want a backpack that can fit in a larger carry on backpack for flying
Which is better?
Osprey, Gregory or mystery ranch?
mystery ranch feels real tough and might be unnecessarily over built for 90% of folks.
my experience with osprey is that they have tons of pockets and are extremely comfortable to the point that you forget its on your back. as for mystery ranch, i just bought one and it feels great but not sure how i feel about the lack of pockets.

IMO, Mystery Ranch stuff is most durable so guess the best but is also the heaviest.
