I am curious what people think of the TV. I would really like a TV with local dimming for better dark scenes, but not sure I want to pay the premium for it.

It's literally predictable, same month, year after fixing it.
He is thinking of upgrading as his TV only supports 60hz refresh, and he wants 120hz. Other than that the TV is great.
Not claiming all TCLs are reliable, but just providing another data point.
