Bruh you can cut vinyl with a butter knife. I think you'll be ok.

I got this last time it was on sale, guy who worked there talked me out of a Dewalt. I'm glad he did, it's awesome. Get the stand too!

Unless u need the bigger blade, and sliding I'd say it's overkill for vinyl. I got a 100 dollar no frills metabo miter saw and did over 4 rooms with vinyl and didn't have an issue. If you need a clean cut just get a higher teeth count blade.

Bought this saw a few years ago. Did our entire basement (vinyl planks, trim, etc) and multiple other house projects. Used the blade that came with the saw. Very happy with the purchase and this is a great price too

This has a lot of features for 185 bucks. Maybe overkill, but for 185 it's cheaper than some single use hand saws. Also will give super clean cuts. I would go to the store and ask about the blade that will work for you.

I've looking to upgrade my old non-sliding dual bevel miter saw and this seems to be the best deal I've seen.

You'll be fine with the blade that comes with it. Usually the cut ends are hidden with baseboard/quarter round.
