I'm an Amazon maniac but also usually only go for products with 4 stars or more, in this case I think the two year warranty &. information that these can be used for mountain biking seem pretty good, I can let you know once mine arrives

Good try at this price. Usually there's a coupon code or something so it's a bit strange they out right are selling at this price. Reviews are always fake on no brand helmets

Blue in Medium at $12.99 gone.
Blue in Small still available at $12.99.

As for the MIPS discussion, I got nothing. If you're helmet shopping, I'm proud of you.

This review was found on the Team Obsidian website. So, take it for what it's worth. The website is marginal at best.

In my personal experience, the best helmet is the one that's on your head. But, that's just me.

Anyhoo, hope that helps. If not, keep shopping. There's literally an endless supply of bicycle helmet suppliers and as with anything in life, you get what you pay for. Smilie

Hmm... You could get the Specialized helmet deal for $27.45 which has MIPS and has like the 10th highest safety safety rating from virginia tech of any bike helmet they've tested. Or you could save $14 and buy a helmet off amazon from from a sketchy company nobody has ever heard of, which doesn't even claim to have any certification whatsoever.

If you place such little value on the safety of your head that it's worth buying this helmet to save the $14 maybe you should just save yourself another $13 and not wear a helmet at all honestly?
