If a child is in therapy or sees a social worker at school, this book could be used as a gift to the therapist/teacher, etc..

Or ignore the cover and use it for jotting down notes or whatever.

Kids use play to act out difficult emotions that are too difficult for them to explain in words. A registered play therapist is trained to pick up and track certain play behaviors and offer help where it's needed. There are a lot of hacks out there, claiming to be experts in play therapy, with no formal training or certifications. To learn more about play therapy, visit a4pt.org

A lot of social media comments are adults acting and talking like they are play therapists (and other play experts).

I find it's easier to find those types of journals if you search for sketch books. I bought a few of these but need some unlined/non ruled journals as well

thanks.. didn't think of needing to look there.. was just hoping for a picture on the side rather than a look inside
