Hi, i have some Best Buy giftcards. Can i apply for the credit card, use some GC and put the rest on the BB credit card? Will the 10% off still work?

I think it would work. I was able to use both rewards points and a BB gift card as part of my purchase with the discount code.

You have to explicitly select the Best Buy cc card at checkout even when it shows the card as default

I been mentioning this a few times in the last 2 weeks in some of the video card threads here. I bought my 4080 for $1029 with no wait

Not a great deal but better then nothing

supposedly. i was just on the phone for like an hour bc their website etc has an error. my account stopped showing my cc etc. they said the site has an error. which should be fixed in 24 to 48hrs. i had them add the promo to my account notes for use whenever this issue resolves?

so for immediate use YMMV??

if it had worked and you create a new cc account you could get 10% back in rewards in addition to the 10% off at checkout..

There are no waits on any 4080s because they are terrible value. Too expensive for the performance.

Oh well and agreed. I justified it by keeping this card for 10 years+ and passing it thru different household pc in the future.

All gpu are overpriced. I find Nvidia 4080 the best value for my purpose of what is available now. I waited till 4070ti release and that card is even more disappointing

Things like power heat quietness efficiency, drivers, video editing recommendations from Da Vinci vendor, and general pc use matters more for me. I am not a gamer. I do run some rare aaa games but I mostly play star craft 2

bb cancelled bday coupon that was 10% off so this is good. But...3080 is better value & good for most use case. only thing in upgrading to is 4090 for VR mods (most aaa games don't need to run at high fps imo). But...not in stock & still crazy expensive with 10% off
