True. I purchased points last week when there was 100% extra points promo. So have some bulk points stacked up to combine with this card's benefits.

Yes. I think it expired on the 04/11. It was similar to this SD post - https://slickdeals.net/e/12382993-ihg-flash-sale-100-bonus-points-when-you-purchase-5000-or-more-exp-11-30-18-comes-out-to-005-per-point-0-01. I'm surprised there's no SD post for the recent offer. I just happened to visit the page last week and saw the offer. I read somewhere that IHG offers such deals frequently for points purchase.
