Have been looking at upgrading from DSLR to mirrorless and this price just dropped $200 from a couple of days ago. Many other refurbished lenses & accessories are also on sale, in case you need to pick up a lens or adapter.

After reading Thom Hogan's reviews of the Z6/7 I'm sticking with the D7500 for now. He describes how the 14 fps marketing is misleading cause you get EVF slideshow and difficulties with tracking moving subjects above 5.5 fps. He only recommends the Z9 for sports and fast moving wildlife.

I grabbed the D7500. That price is hard to pass, especially if you already own a good selection of F mount lenses.

Leaving aside whether mirrorless and dslrs (in general) are overpriced in today's market, the question I ask is how much would I receive for the camera if I traded it in today to a merchant (such as KEH) in excellent + condition? Among the Z7 II, the d7500, the Z5 and the Z6 II, I would take the largest loss (in total dollars) by buying the Z7 III (about $650) and the smallest loss (about $200) with the Z5. The d75000 is very close to the Z5 (about $220 loss) and the Z6 II is in the middle of these cameras (about a $475 loss).

Z5 looks good especially when compared to price of a new APC camera like the Fujifilm X-S10 and he Sony a 6400
