Carhartt usually has the working man in mind when developing their products. During the winter mornings, you'll want the fleece on the inside when it's coldest. Once the sun comes out and your blood is flowing, you'll want to flip it so the fleece is on the outside. Comfort isn't usually an issue since you'll probably have a long sleeve underneath it anyway. I'm sure they developed the water-resistant fabric in such a way that it's comfortable on the skin as well. Also, keep in mind that some workers don't have access to their vehicles or lockers during working hours to put away any additional clothing they want to remove or add on.
Never got the point of these kind of reversible jackets. Why on earth would you ever wear it with the fleece side out and the rough, waterproof and uncomfortable side on the inside?
So make the fleece removable. As an electrician there's no way I'm wearing fleece on the job site. Everything will stick to it.

I love these. When it gets a little too hot I switch mine to the cooler side.

Probably why it is DISCONTINUED and now they are trying to offload the remaining inventory.

Can anyone comment on how warm this jacket is? Looks like it has warmth rating of 3 but I can't find a good description of what that means. Thanks!

Sizing?

Any ideas on the sizing?

I normally wear a Medium.

I heard that they run large, so ordered a Small Super Dux jacket last spring during that sale and it was definitely small. Couldn't exchange to Medium, as there was no stock.
